The jury is set to deliver the verdict for three charges faced by Justin Johnson in the murder case of Memphis rapper Young Dolph. The trial, which began on Monday, September 23, lasted only three days before closing arguments were presented on Thursday morning. Johnson was charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm in relation to the November 2021 killing of Young Dolph (Adolph Thornton Jr.). Following the jury’s decision, Justin Johnson was found guilty on all charges and subsequently sentenced to life imprisonment.
