Police and relatives are seeking the public’s help in solving a 20-year-old murder case in Toyoake City, Aichi Prefecture. Toshiyo Kato, 38, and her three children – Yuki, 15, Rina, 13, and Shogo, 9 – were killed by an unknown attacker who also set their house on fire on September 9th, 2004. In an effort to gather new information about the case, approximately 40 family members, friends, and police officers gathered at a nearby shopping center for an appeal event. Toshiyo’s sister Amami expressed her desire for more people to be aware of the incident and urged anyone with even the slightest piece of information to come forward.
