Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum has celebrated his team’s recent NBA championship win by getting a new tattoo. The five-time NBA All-Star revealed the tattoo on Instagram, which depicts him holding the Larry O’Brien Trophy. Tatum played a crucial role in helping the Celtics secure their 18th championship title, contributing to their victory over the Dallas Mavericks in five games. Although he had a slow start in the NBA Finals, scoring only 34 points in the first two games, Tatum bounced back and averaged 25.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game for the remainder of the series. In Game 5, he put up an impressive double-double with 31 points and 11 rebounds to seal the Celtics’ championship win.
Looking ahead to next season, Tatum will once again be a key player for the Celtics as they aim to become back-to-back champions for the first time since 2018. He has been named First-Team All-NBA for three consecutive seasons and has been selected as an All-Star five times.
The new tattoo serves as a permanent reminder of Tatum’s success and his contribution to his team’s victory in one of basketball’s most prestigious competitions.
