The Denver Broncos have added two players from the practice squad to their game-day roster for their Week 4 matchup against the New York Jets. Inside linebacker Levelle Bailey and defensive back Tanner McCalister were called up on Saturday and will return to the practice squad on Monday. Players can be elevated up to three times during the season without having to clear waivers. This is McCalister’s second elevation of the season and Bailey’s first.
McCalister will provide additional depth at safety and is expected to contribute on special teams in place of injured JL Skinner. Bailey, on the other hand, adds depth at inside linebacker following Alex Singleton’s season-ending ACL tear in Week 3.
The game between the Broncos and Jets will be regionally televised on CBS, with in-market fans able to stream it on fuboTV (try it free). The Jets are considered favorites against Denver this week.
