Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins made a limited appearance at Thursday’s practice, signaling a positive development for the team. Higgins has been sidelined with a hamstring injury and has yet to play this season. However, he did participate in pre-game warmups before the Bengals’ recent loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, leading head coach Zac Taylor to express optimism about his progress.
Higgins had not practiced since September 5th, but Taylor stated that they will assess his condition after Thursday’s practice session. The hope is that Higgins will be able to take the field on Monday when the Bengals face off against the Washington Commanders.
Taylor spoke highly of Higgins, describing him as one of the top players in the league. He emphasized how having Higgins on the field improves every personnel grouping and praised his ability to draw attention from opposing defenses alongside fellow receiver Ja’Marr Chase.
In previous seasons, Higgins consistently recorded impressive stats with over 900 yards and six touchdowns each year. In 2023, he played in 12 games and accumulated 42 catches for 656 yards and five touchdowns.
it is encouraging news for both Tee Higgins and the Cincinnati Bengals as they look forward to potentially having their star receiver back in action soon.
