A mudslide, potentially triggered by heavy rainfall, occurred on Sunday and affected the Kurobe Gorge Railway. As a result, approximately 60 passengers were temporarily stranded. The operator of the train, the Kurobe Gorge Railway, reported that all passengers safely disembarked from the train and made their way to the nearest station located around 600 meters away. Eventually, they were able to return to a terminal station without any further incidents.
